Links to Important Veterans Benefits and Forms you need
Click here for web-sites that provide information on Veterans benefits and how to file/ask for them. Accordingly, there are many sites that explain how to obtain books, military/medical records, information and how to appeal a denied claim with the VA. Please pass this information on to every Veteran you know. Nearly 100% of this information is free and available for all veterans, the only catch is: you have to ask for it, because they won't tell you about a specific benefit unless you ask for it. You need to know what questions to ask so the right doors open for you -- and then be ready to have an advocate who is willing to work with and for you, stay in the process, and press for your rights and your best interests.
Rolling Thunder Ch. 2 NY reaches out to the Staten Island Veterans community and so can you with advertising on our space.

On Monday, April 19, 2010 at 10 a.m. there will be a ceremony at The Wall for the 74 new names that have been inscribed.  These Veterans died from the affects of Agent Orange.  Families are coming from all across the nation for this event.  If you would like to attend here is information on a hotel in the area.  This hotel was chosen by a friend who lives in AZ so I don't know anything about location but there is a shuttle to the metro. Her family is coming in from AZ, CA, CO and TX in honor of her brother-in-law who passed in 2004.  I have contacted The Washington Times also.  A nice representation of Rolling Thunder members would be great and I hope to see you there
